Open Call for articles to be included in the Springer Book (edited by ICMAM Latin America): Analysis and PDE in Latin America 2026
The goal of this volume is to provide an inclusive perspective of the mathematical research in analysis and PDE in Latin America. Website of the series: https://link.springer.com/series/17271 Series: Ghent Analysis and PDE Center, Research Perspectives.
We are delighted to announce an open call for papers for the forthcoming Springer volume: Analysis and PDE in Latin America 2026, part of the ICMAM Latin America book series published with Springer-Birkhäuser.
Submission Deadline
20th August 2026
Who Can Submit?
PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, faculty members, and established researchers in analysis and partial differential equations are invited to contribute their work.
Research Areas
We welcome submissions in analysis, partial differential equations, and related topics, including harmonic analysis, functional analysis, operator theory, spectral theory, and mathematical physics.
Submission Deadline
20th August 2026
All manuscripts will undergo rigorous peer review following Springer's standards for academic excellence.
Manuscript Requirements
Submit your manuscript in English including:
Title and author information with affiliations
Abstract (150–250 words)
Introduction with context and motivation
References in standard mathematical format
To prepare your manuscript please follow these instructions:
Short communications: If you want to submit a short communication follow these instructions. Each paper is 3-8 pages long (including title and references), the upper limit of 8 pages is flexible until 10 pages. It is expected that the paper is of an extended abstract type, namely: one can make a short research summary or announce some results without proofs. The idea is similar to publishing in journals like e.g. C.R.A.S. Mathemátique Paris, Funct. Anal. Appl., or Doklady RAN. Therefore, publishing a paper in this volume does not influence the publication of a full research paper, which can be published as usual elsewhere.
Research papers: You can also submit long original research papers and there is not a limit with respect to the number of pages.
The papers in our volumes will appear included in Scopus, MathSciNet, Zentralblatt and Web of Science.
Publication is free of charge, authors should get free electronic access to the whole volume.
Please prepare your submission using the provided LaTeX template.
Please email your manuscript to the scientific director of ICMAM Latin America, Duván Cardona with copy to all volume editors: Jose Raúl Quintero, Fernando Gallego, & Andrés Astaiza (emails are available on the right hand side of this website).
Selected papers will be published in the Springer-Birkhäuser series following peer review.
